I don't understand how these sorts of programs work even after reading their descriptions. I thought you can't be logged out to use these services. So do they have a pool of shared accounts that just allow relaying or something?
It used to work fairly well, but it doesn't look like it's been updated recently, and after testing 3 or 4 of the publicly listed instances they don't seem to be running anymore.

Not newpipe, but I use this Firefox extension that sends me to an anonymous version of tiktok and Instagram.

Bless you, my friend sends me tiktoks all the time and I had gotten tired of having to do the desktop version of the stupid website every time.

i think you can view tiktok links without an account, i've gotten links to tiktok/instagram videos a few times and they all worked with yt-dlp

i just yt-dlp with termux and view it on vlc, might be not so user friendly but it works

YT-DLP on desktop or YTDLnis on Android let you download videos from almost any URL. They sometimes get blocked though
