this is not really a solution and it's not gonna work if you use an app. but i just use this browser addon+@ called hoardy web to save every page i visit locally. then i can revisit that page later on.
thought it actually exploded from the title. this is just swelling and it's actually pretty common. doesn't seem mild so you should definitely replace the battery though
not sure wdym with "valid source of information" or "trustworthy application" because i said neither in the comment above.. in fact i explicitly mentioned "pretty obvious telegram is a honeypot"
that's not really what happened. bugs in rsync happened as always, and they didn't have a test case to catch it. in fact, (afaik) they were developing a robust test by the time that 'news' came out.
if it works for you and you're happy there's not much issue with continuing its usage. however imo it's a pretty obvious honeypot, so gotta keep in mind anything you chat there can also be seen by the FSB/NSA whatever
signal is very privacy oriented and not as flexible as telegram. chat history, backup, multi device could provide worse UX. also their desktop client is electron unlike telegram that has nice native programs. (and this is just my opinion, but i can't trust them for not being a honeypot because of their phone number requirement and extensive AWS usage..)
i'd choose XMPP or something if i were to move, but i still use telegram too..
tbh, imo the major languages' maintainers are probably mostly competent enough to not fuck up the codebase much even when using llm for codes. they'd reject slop code from llm just like how they've rejected slop merge requests from humans till now.
random "html programmer" doing "vibecoding" is whole different from old veteran greybeards using llm
lurk around here, watch movies/anime, read books(annas/zlib) and wikipedia.. etc
honestly not sure how effective it would be, but the example image on this post looks very cool
tbh it's been more than a decade since the phone market got extremely not interesting
guess i should say i trust it as much as any other sketchy piracy site. i get what you mean

btw there's a spoiler tag on lemmy that can be useful for this sorta stuff

camera bump, OLED(burn-in), 6.1 inch(huge) -- i'll pass

i have a bunch of 3DS carts i've barely used in almost a decade..
does anyone know a good way to dump all those carts and their save data so they can be used on emulators? have a 2DS XL but it isn't CFWed yet
i use temporary containers, might be slightly different from what you expect but it works very well for my usage and i recommend it
wow sucks if that's true. why wouldn't they just fallback to GTK+3 file picker when dbus isn't working well?
i also kinda have dbus killed on my system, gotta see if i get this issue after my distro gets ESR 153..

i'd totally carry large phones if they are useful

ahh fucking assholes...
it's pretty obvious telegram is a honeypot of some sort but it's still pretty damn useful so i keep using it for piracy stuff

last.fm isnt really piracy tho, iirc you can use their scrobbler with all sorts of things including spotify
last.fm?
this is fucking cool. quite impressive how they even made custom tools for this!
