The Flashpoint Archive is a big project to preserve old web games (Adobe Flash based games, animations etc).
It has a really cool video about what it does on its website: https://flashpointarchive.org/
Go check it out. It's literally a treasure trove of old games.
Here are some screenshots:

Even better: i just saw this:
you can even download a personal copy of all the games on the entire archive! for those of us who make backups of things.

If you want to help them find more old games to archive, there’s a tool you can run on your old computers to find delisted games in your browser cache:
https://flashpointarchive.org/datahub/Recovering_Files_from_Browser_Cache#Flashpoint_Cache_Dumper
Note that there are always privacy/security considerations when running random internet software to scan your files.

There is a game I used to play in the late 90s and aughts that was simply stupid but fantastic for stress relief, and I still think about it even though it's been possibly fifteen years or longer since I played it. Just checked the archive and it's there.
I had no idea this even existed until now. Many thanks.

Woobies. A librarian turned me on to it when I told her I'd gladly listen to more audiobooks but I hate just sitting there, having nothing to do with my hands. She told me to ignore how it looks and just do it. She was right. I still miss it when I'm just listening to music, or did until today.
Of course I went and played it immediately, lol.

Flashpoint is amazing. I'm in game dev school and every time someone comments about missing old browser games I show it to them. Seen a couple people get excited to tears being able to play childhood games they thought were gone forever

No, but they have Insignificance.

None. I just used to play it a lot during the 2000s, I think it was featured on b3ta. It's a good relaxing timewaster.

Zombo.com has been preserved, nothing else matters.
