My boy is approaching the end of his journey, and I've had to make an appointment to walk him over the rainbow bridge. He's been my most consistent compatriot over 13 years of change, and I simply want to acknowledge that he is, and will always be, the goodest of boys. Writing this is helping with the acceptance, and knowing that I'm making the best decision I can for him.

Its the hardest thing and I hate it but I do wish someone could do it for me when the time comes. I watched my mom and dad live horribly before death.

That's Keikō (long vowel), which is different from Keiko. This guy also almost definitely didn't exist, but that's beside the point.
