Probably not worth it to get in so much trouble.

Damn. That's rough. I did 41 years not knowing what was wrong with me. I can't imagine knowing at a young age and not being able to do anything about it. We both have failed systems. It's just wild how differently they've failed.

Stupid amounts of caffeine work for me to a degree, but that's neither sustainable, nor does it what other stimulants do.
Sertraline and Bupropion didn't really work for me. But your milage may vary.
acockworkorange@mander.xyz · 1 pts · 45d
Do not recommend. Highly habit forming, and you end up with acid reflux or an ulcer. Ask me how I know.
erinmeow@piefed.blahaj.zone · 1 pts · 62d
sertraline shoudnt
bupropion can but lottery huuuuuuh, but https://novayagazeta.ru/articles/2020/02/21/84021-vo-vsem-mire-prinimayut-bupropion-v-rossii-net is insanely dangerous to order substances which banned
by logic russian FSB can mention it at customs then arrive to postal office "normally" then they will ask passport even on inside country packages - voala you get raped by govrenment
caffeine is interesting idea hehehe

Yeah sertraline was for my depression mostly, but getting meds for ADHD did more for my depression than sertraline.
Keep in mind that tolerance for caffeine builds relatively quickly, so it probably won't work for longer time frames.
At least not without breaks, where withdrawal might suck.
And don't overdose, do your research first.
mindwanderer@feddit.org · 1 pts · 58d
isn't Sertraline an antidepressant?
Uranium_Green@sh.itjust.works · 5 pts · 62d
Asia or middle east or Russia?
You might be better off trying to find some effective nootropics (though seriously do your research, and accept that they basically wont be perfect replacements, but they may be better than nothing)
Modafinil, Saffron Extract, and Noopept are the three that I would say have been the closest to my actual ADHD meds for me (taken individually, not together).
Huperazine A, can also be useful for some people.
But yeah actual meds can are gold standard, Atomoxetine can be life changing for some people so don't right it off entirely, but it does suck that its expensive.

waow right russia, hmmm i think phenibut can help but assholes made it prescribtion but hopefully is simple prescribtion, it low toxicitity
logically it can increase dopamine activity
hmmmmm seeems like piracetam is w/o prescribtion but idk how good it is
i also take SSRI (sertraline) idk seems placebo for me, but there possibility that i get wkrse if get off basically psychomeds didnt help me at all (i was on lurasidone/valproate before, dumb psyches tried schizophrenia treatment because i trans, but hopefully i get out from this and IT A LOOOOOOOOT MUCH MORE BETTER), hrt is basically made me happy again and even feel better than in childhood, also did much better for ADHD stuff and social interactions, and EMOOOTIONS

Have you tried nicotine? There are some studies that show positive effects for people with ADHD. Obviously it's addictive and you shouldn't take up smoking, but maybe try a patch or gum and see how it goes.
Combine with the caffeine others suggest. You've now joined a ton of people that need a cigarette and coffee (or other delivery methods) before starting work every day.
