I am not dead. I don't react strongly enough to foods to be in danger, it's just horrible.

The allergy specialist said , don't eat the stuff that will kill you , ie, difflam and other anaethestic drops. Be careful with stuff that makes you sick.

so no milk, no prawns/shellfish, no difflam.

but it's good to know Imma be ok.

Now I'm here for a good time not a long one like a lot of others but the tradie next door is on the top step of the ladder, 3 stories up taking a circular saw to concrete without ear / eye protection.

This asshole peed on our bed yesterday, I think as a way to show us how much he hates his new litter pod. So new one out, old one back in.

I got fancy today and rotated my mattress. It feels so firm and unsquished!

I had a busy afternoon getting some cooking done for the week ahead. I made a pot of pumpkin soup, a dozen herb & garlic scrolls, a sandwich loaf, four serves of overnight oats and a rattatouille and beef sausage dish to share with my mother in a couple of days. All followed up with pizza which is in the overn for dinner now.

I thought I was running really late getting everything done, but it's just fooling me by getting dark so early.

Everytime I give my dog flea/worm etc treatment he yaks. I gave him a chew this morning and he's had a vom. He didn't chew it but it did go down with cheese. This dog eats tissues for a living so I don't know what the problem is.

I burnt a pork bun in the microwave the other day. I took it out then shut the door. I'll clean it another day I said. Today is that day.

I'm still enjoying my Sunday

I just spent half an hour fixing my budgeting spreadsheet because my calculations and my bank balance are out by 9 cents. The complexity of rounding numbers.

Went out and got ibuprofen (over 30 so I'm still feeling a bit seedy), nail polish (SH 255 Lips Tulips), a pack of smokes (shh), my anti-sads, and two coffees (one for me, one for mein liebe).

For a Monday morning, this has been very productive for me indeed lol

Edit: for nail polish enthusiasts, do not purchase the Sally Hansen 123 Cobalt Blue; it just does not dry or set, remains gel-like and wet, and smudges very easily. A top coat only seals the wet in, it doesn't set it. The 124 Amethyst Allure is perfect, but it's blue counterpart sucks donkey arse

My tooths are having a group portrait taken this morning. The next step in rhe process of adopting a couple of artificial siblings.

Edit: They also got a fancy 3D scan taken! Technology is pretty amazing. I'm all booked in for the next implant, then early next year I should actually have some teeth instead of gaps, finally! I had no idea how long this process would end up taking - with Covid delays, bone grafts and moving house thrown in it's been a few years since I started.

and time for a sleep, I'm exhausted,

Going to the gym now because my shoulder is playing up.

Gym after work sucks.

And the dental specialist is booked out until the end of November. This makes everything 8zillion times harder. If I've gotten my brain into gear to make a phone call stuff needs to happen ASAP, being in waiting mode for many multiple months messes up all sorts of other stuff

I followed up pizza with apricot crumble. Today has been a very good day.

Was up early to take daughter to work, started work early and smashed out like 2 days worth of work already.

Sometimes I impress myself.

FYI , IMAX Odyssey tix go on sale today. Also interesting is, the 6 PM opening weekend time slot are already sold out from a one year ago.

I have a cleaner coming this arvo for the first time in a while and I'm so excited for shiny taps and neatly folded TP.

I have somehow lost the BRIGHT FUCKING BRONZE lid to the bread tin

Dins tonight was half a dozen chikkin wings, simmered into soup with a spud, a carrot, a bay leaf and a slosh each of soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, sweet chilli sauce and a squirt of mustard. Plus a punnet of cherry toms and (to my shame) ::: spoiler spoiler a small plastic bag of coleslaw mix ::: BUT IT NEEDED EATING UP for the last 5 mins.

Actually tasted pretty good but I will definitely have to go shopping on the way home tomorrow. Please note: no alliums of any kind were harmed in the construction of dins tonight. And there's enough liquid left for another go around of soup if I put bits in it.

Since we have some nail polish experts in here; I went to a clothing store the other week and the woman that served me there had on this nail polish that looked black from front on but had this shimmery, holographic silver look to it when viewed on an angle. How'd she do it?
