The best CRT monitor I ever had was a Mitsubishi (22" Diamondtron). It was even better than than my Sony Trinitrons.

It's a whole Sinosphere phenomenon, not just Japan. Take a look at Samsung or Tencent, for example.

Honda - Cars, motorcycles, lawn equipment, generators, water pumps, outboard motors

zod000@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 3 pts · 79d

Kawasaki also makes, or used to make, jet skis, which I guess makes sense as they are like motorcycles for the water.

Mitsubishi makes everything. They've got like 40 companies under their umbrella and one of them is a bank.

Samsung used to make cars. By "used to" I mean last year you could still buy an SM6 new.

Also brass instruments and cymbals. Really just anything musical. And yeah, small motor vehicles.

BCsven@lemmy.ca · 5 pts · 79d

Cuz they both need tuning?

GE: We make things that spin really fast without falling apart.

US military: Can you make a gun?

GE: Yeah, but it's gonna spin really fast without falling apart.
