A very compelling anecdote utterly lacking in evidence or context. My favorite part is where I'm accused of equating all imperialism, but then downvoting a comment equating all imperialism. Almost like this braindead line of attack is putting forward contradictory positions because the people repeating it are too fucking stupid to recognize doublethink.
Yes, and my point about right wing infighting and the majority of American "left" groups sacrificing whatever minority group is convenient for false promises still stands.
That's part of what this exercise helps to highlight.
The reason I use scare quotes for the "left" is exactly because people like them are refered to as "radical leftists" in the US and they're, arguably, self described liberal socialists.
Liberalism, especially American liberalism/neoliberalism is a right wing ideology. Pulling in some basic socialist ideas doesn't change that.
Yes, within this context AOC and Bernie are exactly what I'm referencing as the "American left".
If you're encountering a bunch of people who seem "full of shit" while doing this level of petty vagueposting you should probably check your own shoes.
