Something something socialism with Chinese characteristics
DragonTypeWyvern@midwest.social · 2 pts · 35d
Crazy how the Chinese characteristics convenientally happened to be an inescapable social heirarchy and private ownership of capital.
They even put it on the flag no less! Don't ask who the big star represents in 2026.

The National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party is the biggest meeting of billionaires in the world. The irony is strong....

They convienently publish their names on this list, it is a good jumping off point for scrapbooking..

India surprises me
Azzu@leminal.space · 3 pts · 36d
Why exactly? India has 17.2% of the world's population and 8.9% of the world's billionaires. It's as capitalistic as the rest of them, there's little to no socialist or communist politics, this is the political party in power since 2014.

The GDP of India is much lower. Per GDP India has more then double the billionaires per capita of the US.

From what I've seen, they're some of the most obnoxious people around.
Literally building skyscrapers in the middle of slums to look down upon the poor.

South Korea should have way more. Their currency puts billionaires in the middle class.

Interesting china has taken over the US, the two countries must be at war more than ever but there's a sinister silence about it.
