Was out of town on a business trip. On the way back to my hotel I stopped at a dive bar. This was on the TV. Very bizarre

I think a wishbone documentary dropped not to long ago, maybe that was what was playing?

Nope. This was 20 years ago and the show was still in first run production

It was a kid's show named "wishbone" on PBS. Could never understand why a group of beer drinking guys would be watching it

Okay; but what's the story, Wishbone?

Every new dad I know unironically enjoys bluey and will sometimes drink a beer while they watch it with the kids.

Did you hear the theme song? I was half quoting the theme song and half asking what book the episode was about.

Wishbone was the most literate dog ever and read more than me but still took the time to be excited about a story I didn't know but he did.
