Truely horrific. Years down the line the costs in human lives and of extensive remediations nationwide will dwarf whatever perceived benefit there is in allowing the use of these chemicals.
Perhaps future humans will use advanced dialysis treatment every night to filter their blood from the horrible toxins that will (and basically already do) permeate everything we eat and drink...
