1st pass WTG, 2nd pass XTG. Comfortably close shave, maybe a bit less close on my chin than a Bolzano or Feather. Decision time is approaching for buying more blades... Leaning bolzano

This is a rough one since most modern food production facilities completely (or almost completely) eliminate glass from the production floor and track every glass breakage event. Typically all glass and brittle plastic in use in production areas is indexed and audited regularly. Glass getting in the food should be next to impossible.

Sounds like these folks messed up big time!!

1st pass WTG, 2nd pass XTG. CCS. It's been a while since I tried one of these blades. I liked it much more than last time, but I think it falls short of a feather or bolzano.

Forgot to post my last 2 shaves.

Instead, Jeffries argued Democrats should focus on making healthcare more affordable by reversing Republican-enacted Medicaid cuts and extending Affordable Care Act tax credits that he said have helped millions of Americans manage insurance costs.

So basically he's saying that now that Republicans hamstringed our healthcare, we should change our goals and just go back to how things were??? I feel like this is the most obvious it has ever been that establishment dems are NOT on our (the people's) side.

Hopefully I can get back in a more regular shaving routine soon!

Allowing continued spreading of PFAS contaminated sludge is beyond horrible because those chemicals will stay there permanently. Around 1/3 or so of USA cropland is already polluted from spreading of sludges. There is nothing in nature that can break PFAS down, so all that polluted land will have to literally be removed and stored similar to hazardous nuclear waste.

When we finally realize the damage and start work to repair it, it will be the largest remediation project in human history.

...among voters with a high school education or less...

The title of this article is misleading and lowkey offensive. People with highschool educations are not "uneducated" as the title suggests. Shit like this is why these folks are skeptical of main stream media. Show some respect NewsWeek, come on.

Also, I want to know the statistics for voters with NO education. Show me the true uneducated statistics!!!

1st pass WTG, 2nd pass XTG. Comfortably close shave. The unscented Catie's Bubbles works the best for my face out of any soap I have used so far - a revelation. These fragrances have been irritating my face more than I have understood ever since my youth.

My last few shaves were also with this unfragranced soap but I forgot/didn't have time to post them. They were not glamorous shaves - the last one I didn't even use a shaving brush for, just my fingers 🫣 and it still ended in less irritation than I expected. So I will probably never buy shave soap with fragrance in it again.

Truely horrific. Years down the line the costs in human lives and of extensive remediations nationwide will dwarf whatever perceived benefit there is in allowing the use of these chemicals.

Perhaps future humans will use advanced dialysis treatment every night to filter their blood from the horrible toxins that will (and basically already do) permeate everything we eat and drink...

I liked the scent of Retreat, although I was expecting it to be less strong. My face seemed to like it better than Lavender Noire, so that's a win! I felt it was pretty easy to lather up and dial in. I look forward to trying Le Nude (fragrance free). Thanks for the recommendation Walden!

So it is a pretty different situation compared to if they had been removing trash by hand, which is much less likely to cause unforseen harm. The heavy machinery will compact soil, potentially leak oil/fuel. The mechanized digging of the stream bed could disturb benthic species and stir up silt that could have negative impacts further downstream.

Without appropriate precautions, this fellow could easily cause more harm to the ecosystem, which is one of the reasons that this is not and should not be legal. It sounds like this group did do some background work to try to make sure they were doing the right thing, but I don't think it should be open season for anyone with a backhoe to dredge a local body of water based on their own judgement.

1st pass WTG, 2nd pass XTG. Socially acceptable shave - I didn't have the lather dialed in very well, but I managed to avoid irritation and complete the shave.

The mission capable rate, which measures the percentage of time aircraft can perform at least one of their tasked missions, dropped from 67% in fiscal 2021 to 44% in fiscal 2025, GAO found.

The full mission capable rate, the share of time aircraft can perform all assigned missions, slid from 38% to 25% over the same period.

JPO officials told GAO that readiness will likely worsen before it improves, and program documentation suggests improvements may not materialize until late 2026 or later.

...GAO projects the services will face a roughly $1.2 billion annual gap between what their F-35s cost to sustain and what they say they can afford.

Those estimates may understate the problem. GAO noted the fiscal 2027 projections were developed before Operation Epic Fury and may not capture the costs associated with additional flight hours.

Between this issue, expenditures of missiles in Iran, lack of industrial capacity to replace lost material, USA military looks to be the most vulnerable it has been in decades.
