This soap was gifted to me by @dom. Very much appreciated.
The manufacturer describes the scent as woody scent with a cedarwood and clove base, subtle black pepper mid-tones, and a fresh fir top note. The jar clearly says made with Guinness. I'd describe the scent as Guinness chai (without any sweetness). It's good to my nose. On a whim, I finished with some Polish whisky. Totally worked.
The ingredients list is wild. Lots of plant juice and seed oils. No tallows or other animal fats in sight. So, I threw in some Bayou Butter.
Lather: Chicago Grooming Co. - Smoke on the Water - Cream
Post Shave: Barbasol - Brisk - Aftershave
Post Shave: Oleo & Company Soapmakers - Facial Toner
Quite nice! This cream has given me varying performance in the past, and now that I've had some time with it I realize it has been all my fault. The stuff is easy to load, easy to lather, and slick. I've heard that the "creamyness" of it varies with what frag oil is in it, and Smoke on the Water makes it firmer than any other cream I've tried. So the cream aspect of it is lacking, but the performance is plenty good.
I'll have to switch back to straight razors when I'm finished with this blade. I'm pretty pumped about my new razor storage box. It's just a lunchbox thing from Stop & Shop, but it's airtight and has a tray for desiccant. I tested it with a humidity meter and it was in the single digits. Humidity in my house these days is closer to 50%.
I don't expect it to make much of a difference, but it gives me piece of mind.

It’s been a few days since I shaved. Since I didn’t have anything to snipe /u/Priusaurus with I didn’t see the point anymore.
But July is a new day, and I wanted to be sure to get signed up for a team. It’s also hot as hell, I needed a shower and to shave this nasty sweaty stubble off.
I found this razor at the bottom of a box. I have no recollection of getting it. I thought it was a Super Speed. It is not.
I am sorry, team, today I have no exacts to give you. But hopefully this one point will help move us ahead.

2 passes. Face lather. Excellent shave.
This was a wonderful shave with the new four-butter soap from Subtle Art Soap.

I'm really enjoying Astoria. It's a nice woody aquatic with just a hint of menthol. Quite nice.
I don't love this brush, but it does make good lather easily. Semogue knots often feel a bit "emptier" to me when compared with Zenith, Omega, etc.
