I'm going to setup a desk station with one vertical monitor on the left, and two stacked horizontal monitors on the right. Monitors are about 7kg so I'm going to need some beefy arms to hold them onto my standing desk.
What monitor arms have you had good / bad experiences with?
I've been looking at the Ergotron items but they are kinda spendy

When it comes to monitor arms I have only ever bought the absolute cheapest one I could find that reasonably supported my display and I’ve never had an issue
I’m sure there are bad ones but they’re fairly simple devices

It's indeed a charm to have a few of workspaces with monitors in portrait standing, especially for source code or chats/socials!
There's a few at works I have at certain places and some in apartments, and if you are searching for a few, I would recommend Humanscale (e.g. M8.1) I trust, and the most of Ergotron, which should be available and are both steady enough that I haven't even had to re-tighten them since the first time I conveniently positioned/mounted them at places, years ago!
