Really great shave. I haven’t used either of these products in years. Varen has been a long favorite that I stopped using two years ago when my wife got pregnant; the Hydro Magic is just a great razor I always forget about.
I took a lot of time with this shave and concentrated on technique. As a result, I had extra time to enjoy the refreshing fragrance of Jack; one of Noble Otter's "Card" series. If you're in the US, enjoy your holiday!

Happy July 4th! It's not the greatest time in our country's history, and I think a large part of the population here could stand re-attending History 101 at the elementary school level. Despite that, we plan on having a good time with friends. Swimming, playing in the sand, driving RC boats, and watching a legally questionable fireworks show put on my our friend.
I had a nice haircut and a one-pass DFS this morning by our lady barber. If my plans work out, I'll have a gratuitous shave later in the day before the experimental physics begins.
