I thought I would die well before my current age (I’m middle-aged), either from doing something reckless or suicide, but here I am. Somehow.

My grandpa died when I was 20. My grandma was alone for a few years, and then shortly before I got married at 27 (I think that would make my grandma 74), she met a man that she totally fell in love with. She called me to tell me they were getting married about a month before I was (my mom was worried that I’d feel grandma was “stealing my thunder”— geeze, what kind of bridezilla did she take me for?). My grandma said something along the lines of, he was the man she had been waiting her whole life for. It was weird at the time to hear her talk about someone who was not my grandpa that way, but I have since learned a bit more about the social dynamics of dating in the 60s and I get it now.

I have an anxiety disorder so:

  1. Everyone I love dying.
  2. Everyone getting mad at me for unspecified reasons.
  3. The flesh eating disease.
  4. The flesh eating disease turning people into zombies.
  5. Dying slowly from the flesh eating disease.

Deleted my comment as I just realised I've misunderstood the question... Never mind 🤷
