The US basically already had unrestricted access to put up military installations on Greenland.
As a Swede, I'd rather not have a war with the US. But if it comes down to it, I'm in full support of Denmark and Greenland.
Our submarines would sink any US fleet: https://www.19fortyfive.com/2026/02/sweden-sank-a-u-s-navy-aircraft-carrier-how-one-wargame-showed-how-americas-supercarriers-can-be-beaten/

Likewise as a Dutch person. All solidarity with you lot. I think we must back our words with force. We must ramp up our military defense against the US; and to avoid a military-industrial complex, we must ensure that this defense and its industry is nationalised, not in private hands.

Everytime the US is talking about invading Greenland, I see big French navy support vessels (likely for their submarines) stopping over here in the harbour on what is likely their way to Greenland. Speculation of course, but it seems the French are quite serious about their military support to the Danish.

Greenland existing has been a clear and present danger requiring urgent action for centuries now.
