Has a bit of a cronyism smell to it to be honest. The company barely exists and is far from having a functional rocket or transport ship. It basically consists of a bunch of former ESA/Ariane engineers and some politically well connected private venture capital funders and that's it.
Sure, not much other choice for ESA right now and Nasa has shown that the model of early fixed price contracts can be sucessful to jumpstart a private launch company, but it is still smelly.

We already vet account registrations and so far there was just not really a need talk about a general LLM ban because people here seem to not be much interested in LLMs. Although we did discuss it in the admin chat before mostly in regards to removing remote GenAI communities from the all-feed.
But we already ban remote bot accounts that are clearly LLM driven and are spamming communities.

Persönliches Fazit von mir: wenn man Teil einer CCC Ortsgruppe oder sowas ist, dann ist das ein sehr nettes Vereinstreffen. Es gibt auch ein paar ganz interessante Workshops usw., aber nur dafür zu kommen lohnt kaum (insbesondere bei den Eintritts- und Übernachtungskosten). Und wie gesagt, Vorträge schauen kann man besser online.

The copypasta is also mostly aimed at anarchists, who correctly identify all states as authoritarian and thus want to abolish all states.
Edit: to clarify: this is a multi-level argument based on Friedrich Engel's "On Authority" essay, trying to justify ML's grab of state power.
Arguing that some states are less authoritarian is a bit moot in that context.
Can that power be used against political rivals, or only against ordinary criminals?
This is a bit ironic given that autocratic governments nearly always use legalistic means to persecute polictical rivals, thus making them de-jure "ordinary criminals". And on a meta-level it is even more ironic given that modern nation states directly developed out of criminal gangs (aka warlords) occupying a territory in medival Europe.
