37 million didn't leave voluntarily, but the EU abandoned us.

But you're right to imply it's stupid for those who took us out to complain that we're now rule-takers not rule-makers. We blooming well told them this would be the result.

The vote was said to be advisory, but after the vote, the new and subsequent governments acted like it was binding.

More importantly, the EU should not respect votes that strip other people of their citizenship against their will. We've seen who else did that, and the EU should oppose them all, every time.
