Everything burns

Nope, burning is reaction with oxygen and Helium for example doesnt react with oxygen. Or at least till now we didn't manage to find conditions where it does happen. Also stuff like CO2 doesnt burn, its already fully oxidised.

Those tattoos have been on living skin for a small amount of time. Rest of it was spent on frozen dead skin which apparently preserved tattoos very well. On living skin, they tend to get blurry over time.
