I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you don't know just how bad "conversation therapy" is.
It often involves electric shocks, forced administration of drugs and a horrific amount of psychological abuse.
It has also been known to involve burning with hot pokers, freezing, whipping, and water boarding.
It is absolutely torture of LGBTQ+ she was advocating for.
Her being murdered doesn't suddenly change the fact she was an awful person using her position of power to try and inflict harm on others

It's worth pointing out here that it is perfectly possible to (a) think that Widdecombe was a thoroughly vile person and (b) deplore her murder.
