The Volkswagen Group reports 438,500 all-electric vehicle deliveries for its brands in the first half of the year. This represents a 5.8 per cent decrease compared to the same period last year.

Sounds more negative than it is. +8% in Europe. The Orange buffoon's trade war and China's anti-competitive internal practices aren't much to do about.

German car manufacturers and with them the whole german industrial sector, focused on short term revenue in the Chinese market while ignoring that they were giving away the knowhow to a future competitor and that the chinese market is tightly controlled by the Chinese state. Now they're wondering why China is able to outcompete them globally and why they are losing market shares.

Have they tried DESTROYING their Factories and Research while RAISING prices to Fix this issue? MAYBE More spyware will do The Trick?
