Aftershave: Stirling Soap Co. - Executive Man - Aftershave
Fragrance: Creed - Aventus
Talc: Yardley Gold
2 passes. Bowl lather. Good shave.
The MMOC has felt natural from the first time I used one. Yes, there's a lot of blade feel, but the balance of the razor allows me to easily adjust the shaving angle to suit my needs. Except for the fact that I would need replacement blades, this razor would be on my desert island list.
The high quality of Stirling soaps is a given. I don't need to wax on about it. (No need to wax off either.)
Thinking more about this someone on discord was asking about a strong scent off of the Bayou Butter pre-shave. Maybe it's the tallow. My nose is admittedly weird and I might not be picking it up.
Post Shave: Saponificio Varesino - Cosmo - Aftershave
Post Shave: Oleo & Co. - Facial Toner - Toner
Fragrance: Chicago Grooming Co. - Susurro - EdP
I don't love Executive Man, but I'm in for the Team GUTL points. It kind of surprises me that this is one of Stirling's most popular scents. I think they have many that are much better, but what do I know?
A great shave overall. I'm looking forward to spending another month with the MMOC.
So impressed that you had a V24. I have a bunch of C&H brushes, but cannot seem to match the Fanchurian challenge. Well done for your team! I agree with you about Executive Man. Although not exactly "dupes", I think SV Opuntia, and Ethos Succès complement Aventus better than Executive Man.

My puck of this soap smells almost sour/fermented off the puck. Kind of like yogurt or kefir. Smells much better when lathered.
Does yours smell the same?

Interesting. I sent an email to Eric asking if he's run into this before, we'll see what he says.
My soap really does smell like yogurt off the tub.

Thanks, I lucked out on this one. It just happened to be the knot in a brush I bought from @BossHoggins10@wetshav.ing a while back.
