True, in principle they’d want infinite revenue and zero cost. Publicly traded companies have a fiduciary duty to chase that outcome.

Incidentally, that is how I behave towards my employer, since it is in my financial interest to do as little as I can get away with.

Why is "AI" being replaced with "Al" (lowercase L) in your post titles? Something to do with subverting scrapers? I've seen a few of these posts and it trips me up; in the typeface I'm using it's quite distinct.

It's only going to get worse as AI companies start charging whatever companies are willing to pay. If it makes a dev 10x faster, they will charge the cost of 8 devs. Only a matter of time.
