Maybe they should add more restrictions to account? Increase pricing maybe? "Is this your cat watching with you, if so, you need the Netflix Pet+ subscription."

Qbittorrent, integrated search tab, many problems solved.

fmhy. has everything I need right there and is always changing the lists for the best options in each category. that combined with ani-cli I don't even bother torrenting anymore.

When you cancel shows after the first season, don't be surprised if people stop using the platform. Prioritize quality over quantity, Netflix.

Don't worry they now have immersion gaming. One of my favorite YouTubers took a sponsor from them to play one of these games. Cool and all but made it a point to leave a comment that it wasn't cool nor would it get me to subscribe to Netflix. That company dead to me.

Ever since the piracy communty went crazy with account sign in restrictions, price increases, wild swings in available shows, it has been hard for it to compete with Netflix.

Wait... maybe I've got that backwards. Nah. That's silly. I'm sure they're just unrelated.

slowing growth

Gee, it's almost like at some point they reach market saturation and won't be able to grow anymore...

That can't be true tho, the number gotta keep going up indefinitely till everyone has 3 netflix accounts each

This also probably doesn’t help with subscriber growth:

Year Price YoY Change
2015 $9.99
2016 $9.99 0.0%
2017 $10.99 +10.0%
2018 $10.99 0.0%
2019 $12.99 +18.2%
2020 $13.99 +7.7%
2021 $13.99 0.0%
2022 $15.49 +10.7%
2023 $15.49 0.0%
2024 $15.49 0.0%
2025 $17.99 +16.1%
2026 $19.99 +11.1%

They chose short term profits.

The Netflix recommendation algorithm could probably use some attention... Recently watched a great Netflix original documentary "Inside the Mind of a Dog"... but it was from 2024. I feel like Netflix could have recommended that to me far sooner, compared to their normal fare.

Surely another price increase, more account access restrictions, or more ads will bring me back! /s
