One time I let my dog in and she had a big spider on her back. Didn't notice, didn't care. I thought, huh... so that's how they keep getting in here. They ride in on the dog.
Probably so the artist doesn't need to draw them close up and in different perspectives. Didn't even notice it the first time around, so they nearly got away with it too. :D
