It’s all fucking dumb. Stop buying everything

What is fucking dumb is this constant game of poorly coded games demanding more hardware to make more poorly coded games designed to cause more hardware demand.
We peaked at the 1080ti.

Hey, I have a GTX 1080Ti still! Lol

Ray tracing and all the other excessive features UE5 has were a mistake.

Not like Nvidia cares, Jensen Huang and company are too busy having gold dust colonics and cashing in on their AI cards.

They'll come crawling back to us once the bubble pops and I hope gamers will remember.

Spoilers: they wont

I hope they do remember how they were treated by Nvidia...

No they won't. By then, China will rule the consumer video card and RAM market, nVidia will be gone, collapsed in a house of cards.

Nvidia will be in deep deep shit when the bubble pops.

Im sorta out of the loop on these things, but isn't 3GB kinda small vram capacity these days? Don't they have like 15+? Also, 15+GB VRAM on one of these would be like a billion dollars by now, wouldn't it?
This is the dumbest bubble ever.
Shellofbiomatter@lemmus.org · 30 pts · 33d
One single module, aka one chip on the graphics card. A graphic card can have multiple chips/modules. Like 5x3gb modules making the total of 15gb of VRAM.
Usually the black chips placed just around the actual GPU chip.

Ah, yes thank you. I didn't read the article, just the title, in true dummy fashion. I just interpreted it as "module" meaning the card as a "unit"
Dumb moment.

Some real "hotdog suit guy" shit going on with NVIDIA of all people say ram is too expensive.
