I immediately thought of 15th century hand cannons and had a 'hmmm' moment myself. Not even sure those were the first.

Waking up in the middlle of the night and needing to pump more air into the can just so you can see enough to find your way to the bathroom...

Or grabbing the handle at the wrong angle and accidentally touching the glass for a lovely 2nd degree burn needing some butter on it...

Or taking a big whiff of that black smoke it makes after being lit...

Fair. I had a used '83 Cimarron 1.8T in 1994. It was an absolute slug, basically chewed through alternators and water pumps on a quarterly basis, but honestly wasn't horrible for a first car.

Aztec was fugly as hell though.

I think the Pontiac Aztec was worse tbh.

The Cimarron was basically a Chevy Cavalier and it worked. I know, it was literally my first car.
