When I used to have a cat this was true for me too

Ya, i dont know what the deal is.. but that sound has me go from deep sleep to full adrenaline sprint in about 2 seconds..

For me its an old cuckoo clock that I have, but yeah, if it stops I can't go back to sleep without starting it up again.
