They've had lots with replaceable batteries. I really miss my G604. You could swap the 2 AA's in about 10 seconds without even picking the mouse up. And they lasted forever. Alas the switches are shit and too much of a pain to replace.
I had to take one of my turtles to the vet because of lump just like that. Most of the vets here were like "Uh, we don't know anything about turtles". Until one agreed to try to give him a shot of antibiotics. The lump went away and he lived another 4-5 years, but his attitude changed completely after that. He turned into a cranky old man overnight.
Seeing that I packed out over a dozen bags of litter during the search, hopefully a net negative. And I'm betting he got by more from stealing campers food like a little Yogi bear than he did his hunting prowess.
I've found most cat harnesses are more of a gentleman's agreement. If they want out, they're going to get out. I'm open to suggestions, tho. This big boy doesn't get to go very far out of the neighborhood anymore.

This is Coco, about 10 minutes before getting lost in a state park. After 41 days of hiking, camping, drone searches, trapping a LOT of the innocent local wildlife (they all got a meal and treated well), he was finally done with kitty Rumshpringa. I found him sitting on a pile of rocks next to the entry to the park. No worse for wear other than a bot fly larva in his neck. Don't listen to all the negative Nancys that tell you "Oh if you haven't found them by now, they are long gone!".

I mean, is that not what we do to shitty companies? We stop using their product and do our best to reason and/or shame others into doing the same?
