"The plane has landed Chat, now what should I do?"

Mac@mander.xyz · 14 pts · 36d

Stand up, immediately, and start shoving everyone as you attempt to retrieve your bag

You're absolutely right to push back on that, what i should have said ...

There’s like a sad undertext here. Like a kid asking Alexa why they don’t have any friends.

OwOarchist@pawb.social · 14 pts · 36d

And the corpo chatbot will of course answer, "But I'm your friend."

Or a pet rock.

rockSlayer@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 9 pts · 36d

The point of the pet rock wasn't the rock, it was the manual

over_clox@lemmy.world · 3 pts · 36d

You spelled and wrong

ā€œGreat, based on your schedule you still have 45 minutes to get to the gate… I love youā€

Erusset@slrpnk.net · 1 pts · 36d

Both are correct

LovableSidekick@lemmy.world · 7 pts · 36d

Well, you know how it worries when he doesn't call.

arran4@aussie.zone · 4 pts · 36d

Probably not an AI issue

wildncrazyguy138@fedia.io · 4 pts · 36d (1 reply)

Better to have loved a bot than to never have loved at all.

AliOski@feddit.nl · 6 pts · 36d

Loving a bot will prevent people from experiencing real love.

errer@lemmy.world · -2 pts · 36d

Prolly fake and gay. The AI I mean, it’s fake and gay.

Quibblekrust@thelemmy.club · -7 pts · 36d (2 replies)

Look at all you non-lonely people with friends & family. Stop lonliness shaming.

AliOski@feddit.nl · 10 pts · 36d (1 reply)

Nobody is loneliness-shaming. It is shaming the use of AI to get rid of the loneliness.

Using AI to get rid of loneliness will only amplify their loneliness.

victorz@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 36d

Still shaming. I can understand why they use it. It feels like a human talking to you. Moreso than not talking to anyone.

It's still pathetic though. Like, in a sad, literal, non-shaming way. The person is pathetic, and needs friends. šŸ˜•
