Modelling scout [Daniel Siad] linked to Epstein found dead in Paris suburbs

A modelling scout linked to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein has been found dead at his home.

Daniel Siad, 69, was discovered on Monday in Colombes, a north-west suburb of Paris, the Nanterre prosecutor's office confirmed to the BBC.

"An investigation to determine the cause of death was opened on Monday evening following the discovery," the office said, adding that an autopsy will be carried out.

Daniel Siad, whose name appears in the Epstein files thousands of times, had previously denied knowledge of the threat Jeffrey Epstein posed.

Modelling scout was probably blackmailing/extorting something and paid the price.

Edit: Nope, he was probably trying to save his skin. I'm guessing February of this year, not 2016.

The DoJ files suggest the FBI was tipped off about Siad’s work for Epstein in 2016. In February, French prosecutors announced they were setting up a team of magistrates to analyse evidence from the files, which mention a number of French nationals, including Brunel.

Lawyers for the former model who made the first complaint said they were "stunned" by his death.

"We are at a loss for words to describe the anger and sadness we feel," they said, with the sadness for their clients "now denied a criminal trial".

And likely a lengthy sentencing. This isn't exactly good news, as much as we may rightfully despise such horrible people.

Siad , next will be the mysterious deaths of Amanda Ungaro and Melania's pimp, Paolo Zampolli. Ungaro is hiding out in Brazil after Trump deported her, she went public to save her life.

I doubt this will be seen in Melania 2.

Daniel Siad, the dead guy, is also credibly linked to the disappearance of a German woman who also appears in the Epstein files -- Siad offered her to Epstein -- and then abruptly went missing in 2015 and is now presumed dead:

Vlado, Michele’s father, says he once overheard his daughter on the phone with Siad and he confronted her: Who is this guy? "Michele said she worked for him as an escort," Vlado recalls. Today, her mother believes that "Siad set Michele up with rich people who took advantage of her." The fact that there is overlap between the modeling and escort worlds is an open secret in the industry. The Epstein documents reveal at least one modeling agency that offered him women from its roster. There are rumors of models being pushed into prostitution. Daniel Siad, too, appears to have blurred those lines. He promised women work as photo models – and possibly offered them up to wealthy men. That is apparently what happened with Michele and Jeffrey Epstein.

As of the time of publication of that article, June 2026, there are over 2,000 mentions of Daniel Siad by name in the public Epstein files.
