So not sure if this works for this comm or not, but I found it interesting. It's an older article tho.
Basically reviews research on the possible health benefits of the ketogenic diet. They found found evidence that keto helps with weight loss, appetite control, abdominal fat, blood sugar, triglycerides, and insulin needs in people with diabetes. Pretty much what you all have already been saying.
It also talks about possible effects on gut bacteria, inflammation, gene activity, cardiovascular health, and cancer treatment.
Some of those areas are still experimental, especially cancer, where keto is being studied as a possible addition to standard treatment.
I'm still new to it all, but this is interesting stuff.
