In "The Odyssey," Odysseus's commander is named Agamemnon. This is meant to be a reference to Captain Sheridan's ship on Babylon 5, one of the best sci-fi shows ever made.

Everybody, myself included, hated it upon reveal and called it a Batman reject.

No spoiler, but I actually enjoyed how they ended up treating it and him in the movie. Nolan is really a big troll.
