‘Hopefully, you clean your counters more than once a day’ quote.
What? Do you actually clean all your surfaces more than once a day? Like, yeah, that would be ideal, but anyone writing this had never had to live in real life. We have actual jobs and limited time.
Sure, that would be ideal, but this cannot be serious? No way this is even remotely plausible, what the fuck.
Some of us barely have time to just live and clean some things, nevermind this being standard in any way, damn.
Thanks, superman. My kitchen is clean. But I don’t scour it every few hours. What sort of standard is that?
I’m still amazed by your suggestion w e should get home from a long day and deep clean everything. What kind of life is that?
Clean to our satisfaction, not whatever weird standard you are trying to project. Not sure how we got on this topic, but damn. Your standard sounds way too high. I’m glad you have no other issues, but others do.

One you just made up. It doesn’t take Superman to wipe a counter down with a wet sponge when you’re done making food. lol. Sorry you’re having such problems in your life that not living in a pigsty is a standard you consider “way too high”
I obviously do that. Just not many times a day, since I only use my kitchen once a day. Cuz I’m busy working. Are you home for 3 meals a day? That’s nice for you .

I don’t get this meme. It’s just a pic of paper towels. Are the paper towels named Steve, or…?

Dude doesn’t want paper towels on the counter.

That's pretty reasonable. Wire holders that work fine are like 10$, more convenient, and functionally give you ~12²inches surface space.

He should be allowed on the counter if he’s that adorable

No cats on the counter. They walk where they poop. This is true even if you clean it every day.

Hopefully, you clean your counters more than once a day, regardless of whether you have cats on there

I do live a real life. I also prepare multiple meals a day, and if I didn’t clean my counters afterwards, they’d be disgusting.
I can’t imagine the state your kitchen must be in, or do you just eat out all the time?

But you clean it before you prep food on it, right? And then, when you’re done, you wipe it down?
So where’s the issue?
LillyPip@lemmy.ca · 0 pts · 24d
Obviously, yes. And further on weekends. Why is this controversial, tho?
I don’t re-clean my already clean kitchen when I’m not using it. It tends to stay clean til next time?
I eat one meal a day, typically at the end of the day. I clean before and after. Do you do this differently?

My wife has the exact same water bottle. That thing is a tank.
