Reactive abuse. They provoke you (intentionally or unintentionally) and then act like you're the problem when you have a normal human reaction to their bullshit.
It is incredibly immature, absolutely agree. Rarely ever not intentional, though. And even when it's not intentional, it's inherently emotionally immature and toxic behaviour built into the framework so insidiously the whole structure is rotten. Absolutely a sign that entire person belongs in the bin, unredeemable.
