Asking AI chatbots makes you look stupid so pick your poison.

what if I am old, though?

mike_wooskey@lemmy.thewooskeys.com · 5 pts · 36d

I'm certainly old, but I've been trying for a year or 2 to stop using giant corporation names as verbs. "Google it" became "look it up" or "research it".

Yeah but do you sound old?

Sanctus@anarchist.nexus · 7 pts · 36d

Yeah you gotta tell people to duck off now

thagoat@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 5 pts · 36d

You gotta Bing your yahoo until you Google all over yourself.

Dookieman12@piefed.social · 5 pts · 36d

Yeah, old enough to know better

Tell people to read a book

I'll have to Yahoo Search it, but I doubt it will know. Guess I'll have to Archie it.

(I do not recall archie (or any of the others) being used as verbs, though).

Saying “just Startpage it” just doesn’t sound the same

I say, "I need to outsource my intelligence" or a variation thereof.

If you know where that's from, good for you.
