Yup, that’s me…my asshole dog ran away into the woods and stayed in a patch of poison ivy, refusing to come out. It could have been a nice day at the cottage…
Cats, too. As someone who has lived with both, they are equally fun and entertaining, just in different ways. I honestly couldn't tell you which was better.
And somewhere in the world a dog is chasing, biting, or just being aggressive to an innocent person. Humans are animals and when we collectively realise it’s wrong to keep another animal tied up and led around by the neck as a ‘pet’ - just for pleasure, the world will be a better place.
We cannot really just free dogs. Most dogs would not know how to live outside and some don't even have the conditions to due to selective breeding.
Besides dogs usually like their humans if they are given a good life and can even search for them when they die. They are tamed animals, we've evolved toguether for a long time, both species enjoy interacting.
You could just let your dog outside and let it come back I guess but they would still have a lower life expectancy because diseases, cars, the world isn't really built for them. same for other pets except like fish because people don't have the resources nor know how to take care of them usually.
Also, the thinfs that go on their body and that like the front of it, is better than collars. You can just use none if you know the dog isn't gonna run into a car tho.
If you threat them well they should have a better life quality.

Somewhere else in the world, a dog is making someone's easiest day a little harder.

When the activity doesn't require a dog

And also a dog has ruined someone’s day as well.

My experience is that the ratio of dog bettering someones day to dog ruining someone's day is 253.749 to 1

I've had some truly great cats in my life, as wonderful as any dog.

Thier name is Friday. 'Amy' brings them in every now and then.
Now matter how bad my day is, seeing Friday walk around the office always puts a smile on my face.

Thank you well for your kind and respectful reply. We aren’t going to agree but I feel we could get along - I wish you a good day.

My dogs would not leave the yard.
