As is usually the case, blame can be laid squarely at the feet of the French.

Okay fair but it is your fault for speaking a Romance language and still just doing whatever the fuck you wanted with the alphabet.

Though through thorough thought you'd realize you don't have a leg to stand on.

YOU FOOL, YOU ACTIVATED MY TRAP CARD
English is not a Romance language so of course cludging the Latin alphabet on to it is a compromise! And half of those are the fault of, you guessed it, Frenchies!

The rugs are named after Danish towns and places so we can walk all over them.

"baby names"
Uuh, or just names...? There's no such thing as a "baby bame" since you name someone for all of their life, not just when they're a baby.

It's a latin word for armarÄum, a place were artifacts and weapons (armas) are stored

I can't explain why but I really hate old people furniture names. Hearing the word credenza makes me twitch like a CIA sleeper agent being activated.

I totally get this, that one family guy scene where Brian doesn't know what a Davenport was (same). I always thought a credenza was like a patio, didn't even realize it was furniture.
