It's even more than that when you consider humans usually cannot recall much about the first couple years of their lives (see childhood amnesia). Granted this is about what adults can remember about their early lives but I wouldn't expect an 8yo to remember when they were 2 either.
Okay, are we supposed to follow greentext protocol here? Or pretend it doesn't exist and respond genuinely? I'm only 1/8th joking, because there are certain internet traditions, and I don't want to violate them...
For real though, that's sweet as hell, and the obviously real OOP is mom now.
my parents got divorced before i was born but i still went to my dads every weekend and i was clingy af to my stepmom. she didnt sign up for it but she was still always there. don't have to be biological to be a mum. <3

A year and a half is more than a sixth of that kid's life. Like five years for a late 20s person.

Considering they probably don't really remember the first few years, it's even much more.

So sweet. I feel like most parents wouldn't introduce you to their child if they aren't serious about you.

Single parents might not have much of a choice depending on their support network. It can be rough getting alone time.

If a child gifts you something, you always accept it.
Except if it is like a dog turd or something.

You’ve been adopted by that child.
