i mean some makers use the money they earn to erode my rights so it seems rational to be opposed to media made by people who are against my existence

Some of the researchers involved have a long history of transmedicalist and transphobic activity and actions against us. Some have attended those famous anti-trans meetings in germany. Some recently started a new study where they tried to make it not clear that they are involved. Not to mention that they keep trying to have a monopoly on treating trans people that is as exclusionary and drawn out as possible to stop as many as possible from transitioning. They keep arguing in favor of conversion therapy (but phrased in such a way that it doesn't sound like conversion therapy).

Much like the NHS in england they ignore all existing research and start whining and crying when people call them out on trying to produce specific results with their unethical studies. I can't believe they just get to keep hurting us again and again.

That's possible. I don't know much detail beyond what I've read in some threads

I'm having surgery in less than a week! I think I'm being provided dilators but not sure about what else I will receive.

I've done and bought the following in preperation

  • Donut pillow
  • I'm gonna move my bed so it's easy to get in and out without bending
  • non-slip mat and stuff so I can comfortably use my laptop in bed since I'll be stuck there a lot
  • Sandals that I can easily put on without bending over
  • Sanitary pads to soak any blood or liquids
  • Large black underwear (black so any blood or whatever is harder to see, large so it doesn't rub against me and can fit the sanitary pads and whatever else I might be wearing)
  • Mattress protectors
  • High fibre food to combat constipation

Different surgery techniques have different recovery times etc so I dunno how applicable this will all be for you.

I've been using this guide/diary to help me out: https://s3.amazonaws.com/Joped/Suporn2015.pdf

Good luck with the surgery <3

After seeing the slow progress…I kinda gave up.

Saaaame! I was so diligent with my photos early on. I should probably take new ones soon

You look gorgeous btw and congrats on the lovely boobs

While I personally believe there might be some benefit to simulating a cycle I just wish to stress that it will be experimental and there is no data that suggests there are benefits. This might be because there is no data! So it might work. But it might not.

So long as your levels are sane and you're suppressing T there shouldn't be any issues tmk. Hope it works out, and please report back how it goes for you!

No matter what you figure out about yourself, be it that you're cis, gender non-conforming, trans, or something else entirely it's all valid as fuck. Even if you take baby steps exploring who you are or you change your mind later on, it's still valid.

There's no need to apologize. This space exists for you and sometimes people need to vent or crash out a bit.

I don't know the details of your situation but I would like to echo what jessica is saying, but I understand that sometimes economically and logistically it is difficult to get away from our abusers :(

I've not seen them available on the sites I've looked at but my understanding is it's fairly common in latin america as a form of birth control for cis women. The prog might not be bioidentical in the injections, but even then the side effects shouldn't be paralysis.

No. It's a very common injection in some parts of the world. Bioidentical prog and e won't paralyze anyone
