I imagined that "U.S. booze" here is mostly whiskey etc., but I guess it must also include Californian wine, which can indeed be sold in grocery stores.
Canada should throw them this bone and use it effectively. I suspect that even if the american booze is restocked on Canadian shelves, it won't move very fast, if at all.
I wish Americans’ intervention into Canadian separatist movements wasn’t so incredibly problematic because I’d love to leave a “you go girl” for Quebec for telling Ottawa to get stuffed.
I want a bigger article on American dairy restrictions. Having been there, what passes for cheese is crap. I don't want that sold here. If they're willing to meet our standards, that's a different matter. I doubt they will or even can.

Alcohol is mostly sold in government-owned stores in Quebec.

I assume you're talking about heart alcohol, because beer and wine are sold inconvenience stores and everywhere else.
