lexis nexis is a creepiest data aggregator out there. i recall seeing interview with the founder where he's been bragging about buying hacked stolen databases of the darkweb "until feds take them down". all your data

and this company is used to validate your tax worthiness.

Yeah. Library workers have been trying to stop this for years but many institutions are still locked in and I'm still mad about it.

I used to work for a giant bank in the fraud department and had full access to lexis Nexis. It was horrifying 15 years ago. It's gotta be so much worse now.

Shut them down for good. They collect a shit ton of data and sell it to anyone. Your car's telemetry data get collected and they sell it to insurance companies.
