It'd even be a fine photo if they actually got down to her level rather than just shooting from above like they're documenting a snake on the side of the road.

is there some context i'm missing or do i just not get it?

gedfromgont@piefed.ca · 33 pts · 26d (1 reply)

The context is that every lunatic has to post some kind of photo with their garbage takes since evidently that leads to more interactions with the post. Some people post a picture related to what they say, others are posting like this woman.

ah, ic. basically people think they are smart bcs capitalism drew them as the lucky winners of the game of exploitation, and build their entire personality around that

Oh wise lady of the lake, can you write my cover letter?

surewhynotlem@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 24d

Strange women lying in ponds distributing offers is no basis for a system of hiring. You can't expect to get the position just because some watery tart threw an offer at you.

I am not sure what's weirder, posting one of these on LinkedIn period, or including both.

harrys_balzac@lemmy.dbzer0.com · 4 pts · 26d

She was a seal in a previous life, and only barely avoided it this time.
