I started following this guy on Instagram named Jimmy Wrigg, who goes around to different Walmarts and weighs different product (mostly meat), proving that Walmart is shorting customers by almost half a pound sometimes.
Companies always say they are forced to pass their increased costs on to consumers. Oddly, they don't feel any such obligation when it comes to their reduced costs.
A capitalist food supply is made for profit. If the food cannot be profitable, then it it worthless and discarded. Now apply this to housing, education, the justice system, and healthcare and you start to understand our situation.

The people came for miles to take the fruit, but this could not be. How would they buy oranges at twenty cents a dozen if they could drive out and pick them up? And they stand still and watch the potatoes float by, listen to the screaming pigs being killed in a ditch and covered with quick-lime, watch the mountains of oranges slop down to a putrefying ooze; and in the eyes of the people there is the failure; and in the eyes of the hungry there is a growing wrath. In the souls of the people the grapes of wrath are filling and growing heavy, growing heavy for the vintage.”

I didn't read this Steinbeck in school (I read Of Mice and Men), but I thought back then "I'm glad we moved past this. We wouldn't allow such work today so blatantly".
Well, education definitely isn't wisdom. And it sure isn't experience.
You can afford groceries. You just can't afford to get caught.
Side note, but you know those coolers for the milk where they stock them from behind? Loss prevention sometimes hang out in those - straight view down an entire aisle and shoppers* don't usually pay enough attention to notice them. Something to check.
Lies. Those are cold and LP is a bunch of wusses. They mostly hang out in the management office and occasionally look at a camera when they see a black person in the self checkout.
Hate (not really) to say this but people kinda had it right with the mobs of grab and goes, set up a day for everyone to get their tariff refunds. Money only has value if we let it, I contribute to society wtf do I gotta/starve go broke for, a trip 2 Dr's, little healthier foods...
Reallywe gotta reclaim the means of production. Squat a building, put a lathe or something in there. Have an old person from the neighborhood be the shop teacher or make tools. Do the same for everything.
Isn't it communism when weaker companies are supposed to be helped by stronger companies financially, to stay afloat? America lives in communism for a very long time now, at least since 2008 and the "too big to fail" buyout of the most corrupt banks in the world

Oh it cannot be discarded, it must be destroyed so that it cannot be utilized. Resources and nature are only valid if profitable.
