The article suggests Schumers name alone may scare people into backing down, but how is it not the other way? How are people not putting Schumers feet to fire after he wouldn't let a vote happen that affected an industry his daughter is in?

This isn't a unique thing, neoliberals held the reigns for 30 years and they set their kids up in lots of cushy positions especially at tech companies
Neoliberals and tech bros have been in bed together since they agreed to claim the dotcom boom was somehow caused by tax cuts after it started
