Thanks for the leg work!
Such a good example of the two level justice system. Minimal evidence this guy did anything, but he’s been held since like the day after without conviction.
Meanwhile in Texas you can diddle all the children you like as long as Kenny has your back.
So much winning.

It all comes down to
A) How much justice can you afford?
B) which class are you? (See A)

Luigi just plead guilty.
Looks like the NY Post was accurate, as usual.

Well? What are you waiting for?

I have a son with pretty severe autism, he can't look after himself. I'm sure everyone else has similar stories :(

And you’ve just stumbled across the exact problem: People in America are kept juuuust comfortable enough to feel like they’d have a lot to lose.
The complete lack of any kind of safety nets means the vast majority of Americans can’t afford to rebel, because they still have to put food on the table in the meantime. And they can’t take time off work (or risk losing their job entirely by getting arrested) to go burn down a government building.

Then maybe don't use the term "we" if you're not going to be participating in the risky part.

No, I have no right to ask others to do what I can't do. All I ask is that people try to build community and solidarity, that is just as important.
Cypher@aussie.zone · 0 pts · 4d
Ahh yes the solidarity of doing nothing but smugly maintaining that you totally would.
Malyca@lemmy.zip · 4 pts · 3d
It doesn't matter if I would or not, and I never said it did or that I would. I doubt a soccer mom with a 338 is going to succeed anyway. Building community is the only path out of this.

By that you mean you’re willing for other people to risk life and limb for your beliefs, while you’re willing to risk a slight ouchie when you cut the oranges for half-time?

What loss of innocent life are they talking about?

The explosion of flock cameras is a reaction to the realization the killer, whoever it may be, will end up with minimal consequence for one of the most publicly acclaimed killings ever
