Joke's on you! I did try and am using localsend since I finally got fed up with KDE connect. It failed me for the last time when I tried to send 100-200 image files from my phone to my laptop and it inexplicably kept leaving out random ones. Of course always differrent ones at every attempt.
Localsend just worked like a charm.

Funny, I had the opposite experience lol. Localsend crashed if sending more than 20 pictures in one go, or a over 500mb file. KDE Connect did it with no issues right away.

Don't jinx it for me!

Surprised to see LocalSend on a list like that since most most people have probably know or even have it installed by now.

I just updated to the latest version on my computer and phone (1.18), but discovery doesn't seem to be working.
It was very frustrating. Restarting both did nothing...I really don't know what to do.
The only solution was a new button called share by link or something, where you manually type in the web address.
So the transfer mechanism still works...it is just discovery that is borked.

I feel like an actual Linux user now because I've used GPU Screen Recorder, EasyEffects, and BetterBird!

I've been using Ferdium for years even before swtching to Linux (it works on Windows, too). I started with Franz, then switched to Ferdi, and then Ferdium.
I know it sounds pointless as it's a little more than a separate browser with pinned tabs, but somehow having all the permanent services organized the same way in the same app across all my computers is immensly helpful for my ADHD brain to keep track of all the channels and communicators.
Also thefuck rules.
