The attack had already failed before the bus driver kicked it.
Security Caneras showed the drone hitting the plane but the detonator failed.
The drone lost connection afterwards and was only sitting there in hover mode when the guy kicked it.

It says that referring to this source, but none of it refers to any particular athleticism, just that it was "flying low".

This is not what happened as far as I know. The drone hit a plane and fell on its back, unable to take off again. The bus driver put is foot on the drone and called the alarm. The air kick version is way cooper though.
