Further, the reason there's so much coal in that Appalachians is because the trees that did finally come to existence, still didn't have proper decomposers, so the carbon just stayed there.

And for those that want to bring up the coal in england, the Appalachians technically stretch up thru Canada and Greenland and come down into the British isles.

I know this is America and our govt officials think its okay, but the Rockies are a bit too young for me
